NEW YORK (September 14, 2015) — Talent Inc., the world’s largest resume-writing and personal-branding service, today announced the appointment of Diego Lomanto to Chief Marketing Officer. The company, which helps job seekers achieve their professional goals, created the new top-level position as part of its efforts to accelerate its brand strategy and direct customer acquisition. Lomanto is based in the company’s New York City headquarters.

Lomanto leaves his post as Vice President of Marketing for Work Market, an online marketplace connecting businesses with freelancers. During his tenure, he built the marketing organization, drove triple-digit yearly revenue growth, and redefined the brand's positioning, resulting in accolades from Red Herring’s “Top 100,” Fortune’s “America's Most Promising Companies,” and Crain's New York Business’ “Fast 50.”

Earlier in his career, Lomanto held several executive-level roles with prominent software firms including OpTier and Verint Systems. He holds an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, as well as a BS in marketing with honors from Saint John's University. Additionally, Lomanto is the CEO of Tournament Poker Edge, a subscription-based, poker-training community dedicated exclusively to multi-table tournaments, which he founded in 2010.
