AMERICAN FORK, UT (December 5, 2023) — Certiport, a Pearson VUE business and the leading provider of performance-based IT certification exams that accelerate academic and career opportunities for learners, today announced its partnership with Career.io, a worldwide leader of professional career development products and services, to provide integrated career-advancement services to students in Certiport’s partner K-12 and higher-education institutions in North America.
The partnership will allow for these educational institutions to access bundles of Career.io licenses, which they can, in turn, offer to students. Developments planned in 2024 include the automatic integration of any certification achieved through an authorized Certiport partner into a student’s Career.io resume, allowing the candidate to easily list the certification within their resume or cover letter.

Initially, the Career.io integration will be available for purchase by Certiport Authorized Testing Centers only in the United States. Access to this functionality can be added into the institutions’ certification license bundle and offered to students. Through this annual seat-license offering, institutions can extend the suite of Career.io products and services to students to assist with their career preparation. Graduating students can continue to use Career.io by signing up for a plan, with all their information being saved on their profile.
